A Walk Through the Wildflowers: Who lives in Yellowstone Lake State Park?

Please join folks from the Friends of Yellowstone Lake State Park and the Upper sugar River watershed Association for a plant identification hike and exploration of nearby hiking trails. We will be learning how to identify the native and non-native species in the park and learning about how they impact each other in our shared natural community. We will also be on the look out for birds and other critters who enjoy the park. 

Please bring your curiosity and your questions! Come to learn about those we share the park with as a part of invasive species Awareness Weekend and stay for the adventure.

We will be meeting at the campground amphitheater and then going for a walk at nearby landscapes. 

This event is suitable for children and adults and is free to the public.
