About the event

Join the Upper Sugar River Watershed Association at McKellar Park to dive into the fascinating world of aquatic invasive species. We will explore how these plants and animals can affect our environment, especially in places like Yellowstone Lake and the Pecatonica River. We’ll also talk about how fishing and boating are connected to this issue, and what habits we can practice to keep our ecosystems healthy.

This all-ages presentation will take place in the pavilion at the upper playground area of McKellar Park on Monday, June 16th, at 1:00 PM. Bring your competitive spirit; at the end of the presentation we will play a fun Tic Tac Toe game to test your knowledge and see who’s ready to become an aquatic invasive species expert!
