VOLUNTEER FOR EVENTS

Upper Sugar hosts, and is part of, many events throughout the year. Events range from shared events hosted by one of our partner organization, like Burning Troll, to events that we host entirely solo like our Annual Meeting. Each of these events relies on our dedicated group of volunteers to make them a success.

Your role at an event varies just as widely too! You can sign up to be a volunteer who helps plan the event and its logistics. Most of this work occurs ahead of the event and can be quite involved. You might contact sponsors, recruit volunteers, plan the event activities, or help manage the budget. 

 

Or you could be someone who volunteers to help on the day of the event. This could mean that you are taking tickets, accepting payments, directing parking, serving food and drinks, giving a presentation, are an attendant at one of our booths, and so much more. With this much variety you can choose the role that you function best in and are most interested in!

Event volunteering is a great way to dip your toes into volunteering with Upper Sugar, especially if you choose a "day of" role that requires just one day of your time.
